Contact & Birthday Data

To provide reminders, you supply names and birthday dates for your contacts. You may optionally add notes, gift ideas, addresses, and timezones. This data is stored securely and is private to your account.

Telegram Integration

When you connect your Telegram account, we store your Telegram chat ID to deliver messages. We do not store your Telegram username, full name, or any other profile information from Telegram beyond what is strictly necessary for message delivery.

Usage Data

We automatically collect anonymised usage statistics such as page views and feature interactions. This data cannot identify you individually and is used solely to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain our birthday reminder service.
To send you birthday reminders via your configured channels (Telegram and/or email).
To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
To send transactional emails such as account confirmations and billing receipts.
To improve and develop our features using anonymised analytics data.
To comply with legal obligations.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest using AES-256. We use secure, GDPR-compliant cloud infrastructure hosted in the European Union.

Access to your data is restricted to essential personnel only, and all access is logged and audited. We implement industry-standard security measures including regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Notifey. Each is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements:

Stripe — payment processing. Card details never touch our servers.
Telegram Bot API — message delivery. Used only to send your configured reminders.
Transactional email provider — for system emails such as confirmations and receipts.
